At the Indian Auto Expo'23, we saw the EV takeover. EVs are indeed the future of automotive and hence a lot of new manufacturers are stepping into this market. Speaking of EV innovation, Magron Novus electric bike has been spied on the test. So, what's so special about it? Well, it will be the first-ever fully forged carbon fiber e-bike to launch in India. Magron Novus Electric Bike Details
The spy shots of this upcoming e-bike are hovering on the internet. However, it is only spied on from the rear end but one can easily make out how it will look like. Speaking of its details, it comes with a full carbon fiber fairing. This means that it will be a performance EV that will take on the rivals like Ultraviolette F77. Additionally, the rear end looks like a proper ICE sports bike with a big engine. However, it will suspect get a powerful 7.5kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, there are no details available currently regarding its power output.
While the spy shots have only showcased the rear and side profile; the front profile teaser is live on the company's official website. The production version is suspected to get a sequential LED headlight setup that will also act as turn indicators. Meanwhile, the overall outlook is very sharp and aggressive. Hence, we can expect that Magron is focusing on the young audience that looks for performance in an EV.
However, the most interesting part about it will be its feature list. As per the official claims, the production bike will get some pathbreaking tech. These will include ADAS, Blind Spot Monitoring, AI, VCU, & even a 6-axis IMU. Such technical features are only seen on high-end ICE sports bikes. It will also get smart safety features like lane departure warning, LDR, & secure access.
Verdict
While this upcoming e-bike looks promising; it is still under development. Additionally, we don't feel that it will debut any time before early 2024. Also, the test bike was seen without the registration plates which are usually seen on test mules. Hence, it might still be in its prototype phase as we can make out of these spy images. Crucial details like its specifications, pricing, & delivery details will only be shared upon its launch in the future.
