Engine Performance and Mileage 9

The BS6-compliant 124cc fan-cooled, 4 Stroke, SI engine that powers the Honda Grazia 125 is coupled to a clutch-type automatic V-matic transmission. The 124cc fuel-injected engine produces 10.30Nm of torque and 8.25PS of power. The motor has good beginning acceleration and gives passable performance for city commuting. The 124cc engine has respectable power output and is extremely responsive. It provides enough performance for city commuting as well. The Grazia 125's BS6 engine is extremely quiet and sophisticated. It includes a fuel-injection system, which has substantially improved how refined and smooth the engine feels. The engine is very responsive in the low and middle rpm ranges.

The Honda Grazia 125 BS6 accelerates smoothly and quickly to speeds of up to 65 kmph, but it takes its sweet time to go faster. The engine is smooth, even while travelling at 70–75 kph. Although the vehicle's fuel efficiency rating of 45 km/l is respectable, it is rather low when compared to competitors like the TVS NTorq 125. Here, fuel injection technology is crucial since it enhances both fuel efficiency and power delivery.

Thanks to its sturdy suspension design, the scooter also handles difficult terrain effectively. On the floorboard, handle, and footpeg, there is barely any vibration. The BS6-compliant Honda Grazia 125 offers exceptional comfort and riding qualities overall.

Summary

The Honda Grazia 125 offers good performance with a strong pick-up. The scooter manages to deliver around 42-45 kmpl of fuel mileage in real-world riding conditions.

Tyres, Brakes and Features 8.5

The suspension setup of the Honda Grazia 125 BS6 is the same as the BS4-model, which is something that we’re happy about as this scooter continues to offer a very comfortable ride. The scooter is based on a high rigidity underbone type frame. The suspension duties on the scooter are performed by a telescopic fork at the front and a 3-step adjustable type spring-loaded hydraulic suspension at the rear. The Honda Grazia 125 offers a smooth and composed ride. It glides over speed breakers or broken patches of roads effortlessly.

The Grazia 125 also offers a 190 mm front disc brake known for its impressive bite. The 130 mm rear drum brake does not disappoint either. The scooter also comes with the Combined Braking System (CBS). The CBS system basically applies the front brake automatically to stop the scooter or slow down while you engage the rear drum brake. This ensures efficient braking and assists the rider to come to a quick stop.

The Grazia 125 also gets tubeless tyres in the front and rear. The front tyre is sized 90/90-12 54J, whereas the rear tyre is 90/100-10 53J-spec. Tyres of these sizes are known for providing good resistance against aquaplaning and should ensure a good amount of grip on bad sections of the road.

It has an apron-mounted storage box and an external gasoline filling cap for enhanced convenience. A side-stand engine kill feature and an Idling Stop System, which switches off the engine while it idles for a time in traffic, are further noteworthy features. The scooter has a completely digital instrument cluster that displays real-time and average mileage information, tachometer readings, and the distance till empty. A 3-step eco speed indication is included in addition to the standard warning lights.

Summary

The Honda Grazia 125 offers a good ride quality and strong brakes, thereby making it among the stronger performers of the segment.
