Audi Q5
The Audi Q5 is a midsize luxury SUV aimed at buyers seeking a refined, comfortable and well-rounded premium family vehicle. It stands out for its smooth and responsive 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine paired with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive, delivering strong performance while maintaining excellent composure on the road. Complementing this is a well-crafted cabin with premium materials, a digital cockpit and modern convenience features that enhance everyday usability. The overall package feels polished, refined and easy to live with, making it suitable for both city commutes and long highway journeys. That said, rear seat space and feature depth may not feel as generous as some newer rivals in the segment today.
Audi Q5 Latest Update
Last Updated On 8th Sept'25: The Audi A6, currently in its 5th generation, hasn’t received any updates in a long time. However, Audi has globally revealed its 6th generation, which will launch in 2026 internationally, but there are no reports on the India launch.
One of the best-selling Audis in India, the Q5 strikes a perfect balance between off-road fun and everyday usability, with very easy-to-drive characteristics. This car is available in two variants - with the same 2.0L engine. To add more, it's been a long time since the automaker has given it any updates.

Q5 Highlights
On Target
The Audi Q5 blends understated luxury with everyday usability. It’s not the flashiest SUV out there, but it nails the basics with comfort, build quality, and a strong sense of refinement.
What We Like
Superb ride comfort and cabin insulation, solid build quality, feature-rich interior, smooth and refined 2.0L turbo-petrol engine with quattro AWD confidence.
What We Do Not Like
No diesel or hybrid option, design feels a bit conservative, limited rear seat under-thigh support, and pricey compared to rivals.
