The strength of the Yamaha MT 15 V2 is its 155cc liquid-cooled engine. It has been sourced from the R15 sports bike. It’s a high-revving engine which can easily hit 10,000 rpm. The mid-range of this engine is its strongest point i.e. between 4,000 rpm to 7,000 rpm. Below this mark, it does feel a bit hesitant at times but the ease to ride remains consistent. Also, it is very fuel economical as it can deliver easily upwards of 53 kmpl. If you love top speed, it can touch 130 kmph or maybe even more. But, post 120 kmph the engine feels strained on it. Also, there are a few vibrations which can be felt on the footpegs around 100 kmph.
