Kawasaki is a name that tags the appreciation from auto enthusiasts around the country for its deliberate attempt to produce motorcycles that are performance-oriented. Kawasaki has been successful in India thanks to its Ninja range of motorcycles that symbolises speed and efficiency. To continue the dedicated venture of its Ninja range of motorcycles in the Indian market, the brand has now presented the country with the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 650.
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been launched in India priced Rs. 6.61 Lakh (ex-showroom). The bike replaces the previous model and is now expensive by more than Rs.7000. Also, the new model gets new colour schemes to attract customers.
The new update to the Ninja 650 is visible to the eye as it comes with vibrant colour schemes, however, the body design remains unchanged. The signature lime green colour of the motorcycle now gets a splash of white colour on the lower fairing. In addition to its white hints, there are red pinstripes that run throughout the vehicle. The yellow honeycomb pattern on the previous model has been done away with.

Apart from the lime green colour, the motorcycle comes with a Pearl Robotic White colour scheme with metallic grey and lime green colour highlights. However, the KRT edition of the motorcycle available in the international markets come with Lime Green/ Pearl Blizzard White and ebony paint scheme. The introduction of the KRT edition to the Indian market has not been confirmed by the brand.
As for the features, the motorcycle comes with a 4.3 inch TFT display that has Bluetooth connectivity. It also gets an integrated LED headlamp and taillight.
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes with a 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine like the Z650 streetfighter. The engine has been mated to a six-speed gearbox coupled with a slipper clutch setup. In addition to this, the motorcycle gets twin discs at the front and a single disc setup at the rear. It also gets a dual-channel ABS system. As for the suspension, the front comes with telescopic forks and the rear gets a monoshock suspension setup.
