Suzuki appears to be preparing to enter the electric two-wheeler market with the Burgman Electric scooter. The scooter has been sighted several times before, and today we spotted two Suzuki Burgman electric scooter test mules on the Delhi-Gurugram highway.

The test mules were painted in a dual-color scheme of white and blue. On each side of the scooter, there was no exhaust pipe. The scooter's main design is identical to the Burgman 125 combustion engine type, and all of the badging has been concealed with black tape. Another visual change we saw was a grey sleeve wrapped over the footboard. The Suzuki Burgmans electric scooter would be the company's first EV in the country.
A reflector above the number plate and a rear tyre hugger that covers half of the tyre are also visible in the photos. The Burgman's petrol model has a single rear shock absorber, however spy images clearly suggest that the electric variant will have two rear shock absorbers.
When it comes to the scooter's instrumentation, a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connection is expected. If Bluetooth is included in the scooter, it will make it easier to utilise your smartphone and other connected features. The brand has not provided any information regarding the scooter's introduction or characteristics. However, we expect the scooter to have a 3-5 kWh battery pack and a 4-6 kW electric motor.
