BMW India Teased The 2022 X4 SUV Facelift Ahead Of March Launch

In March, BMW is expected to launch the facelift of its X4 SUV in India. BMW revamped the X3 SUV in January, and the X4 is slated to debut in the first week of March. With the phrase 'A bold new statement is on the way,' BMW India teased a new product on Twitter, most likely the BMW X4 SUV facelift.

BMW has unveiled the X4 SUV facelift in the global market in early 2021, which features numerous interior and exterior changes. BMW's distinctive kidney grille, bright LED Matrix headlamps, LED tail lights, revised bumpers, and other improvements may be included in the India-spec BMW X4.

The engine options will most likely remain the same as before. The petrol version will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. The power and torque outputs are expected to be around 250bhp and 350Nm, respectively. There will be two engine options for diesel variants: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder. The smaller size diesel engine will produce around 190bhp, while the powerful 3.0-litre straight-six will be upgraded to produce around 260bhp. Both engines will be mated with the Steptronic Sport automatic transmission.

The BMW X3 facelift will be made in India in 2022, and we expect the BMW X4 facelift to follow the suit and to be produced at BMW's India plant.
