ChargeZone Unveils First-Ever 360KW SuperCharging Station!

India's swiftly growing EV charging firm, CHARGE+ZONE, introduces the country's inaugural SuperCharging Network for rapid EV charging. This network kicks off later this month, starting with stations in Mumbai and Vellore. Dive into the details below!

ChargeZone - India's First SuperCharging Network Set To Open In Mumbai And Vellore

These stations feature advanced 180 KW dual-gun chargers and 360 KW power cabinets, housing four guns capable of delivering 60 KW each at 200 Amps. Additionally, there's a unique gun designed for 500 A (DC) current with liquid coolinga groundbreaking technology making its debut in India. Charge+Zone's superchargers are intelligently crafted to seamlessly convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), providing a powerful and efficient supply of DC voltage and current directly to electric vehicle batteries, ensuring rapid and effective charging.

As part of a bigger plan, ChargeZone aims to set up more than 150 stations across the country, meeting the increasing need for quick EV charging. This effort is a key part of CHARGE+ZONE's broader strategy to build a strong and dependable infrastructure with over 150 superchargers nationwide, making it easier and more convenient for electric vehicle owners to charge up.

These superchargers offer a great chance for truck and bus fleet operators to switch their mid-mile transport to electric vehicles (EVs) swiftly and reliably. Thanks to the special EV pricing set by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) and the additional substation by CHARGE+ZONE at CCD Vellore, charging becomes even more accessible for fleet operators.
The choice to extend the supercharger network in these particular cities stems from the significant traffic on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway, a bustling route in South India. Additionally, there's a growing demand for quick and hassle-free charging solutions in prominent business hubs like BKC, and Mumbai.

ChargeZone has partnered with leading companies like Hyundai, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Volvo-Eicher, Tata Motors, MG, and Kia in the past. Their goal is to establish one million charging points by 2030, aligning with state policies and electricity regulations, and incorporating solar and wind power.
