Mahindra & Mahindra is one of the best selling brands in the market in the below 3.5-tonne LCV segment. The brand is not only offering VFM and capable products, but in addition to this, is also offering impressive after-sales support, practical cabin, and commendable long-term maintenance costs. Mahindra & Mahindra is now all set to introduce 14 new products in the light commercial vehicle segment in India. These 14 upcoming Mahindra LCVs also include six new electric light commercial vehicles. All these said vehicles are expected to be introduced in the Indian market by 2026. The six new electric light commercial vehicles will have four new products for last-mile connectivity, an electric version of the Jeeto cargo van, and a goods-and-passenger carrying pick-up truck. With rising fuel costs, restricted diesel service years, increasing green tax costs, and rising pollution, the market is now slowly shifting to electric vehicles and the commercial vehicle manufacturers too are now coming up with new products with a capable and reliable electric powertrain. Four out of six electric vehicles in the upcoming lineup will be developed and manufactured under the brands latest Born Electric Vehicle (BEV) programme. The Born Electric Vehicle (BEV) programme is headed and managed by Dr Uli Stuhec and focuses on the development of new BEV architecture and the development of the BEV platform strategy. These vehicles will be developed in collaboration with the Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai.

Under this strategy, Mahindra & Mahindra will be launching the Atom EV in FY2022. This will be followed by the launch of the new Treo electric three-wheeler. Treo electric three-wheeler will be a completely new product and will be developed on the brands Last Mobile Mobility (LMM) platform. The brand is also preparing to launch the UDO EV commercial vehicle that will be a stylish two-seater electric pod production vehicle. The UDO concept was showcased by Mahindra at Auto Expo 2020. A new Jeeto EV will be introduced in FY2024 and will be offered as a compact and affordable light commercial vehicle. The Mahindra Jeeto is a great product for small business owners and those looking for a compact alternative to the Tata Ace.
In addition to this, the brand is also working on developing a new electric pick-up truck that may replace the Bolero pickup range in India. Moreover, Mahindra & Mahindra is also planning to launch two new pick-up trucks with conventional, ICE-powered engines. These pickup trucks will be a great addition for those who are looking for capable and reliable pick-up trucks for transportation and farming needs. The brand is currently planning to launch six of these new products within the next three to four years. These upcoming Mahindra light commercial vehicles will offer supreme value for money with low maintenance and dependable after-sales support.
