India's second electric SUV, MG ZS EV will be launched in January 2020 and the recent news is that it will be offered in two variants only - Excite and Exclusive.
One can book the electric SUV either through MG's official website or at select dealerships at a price of Rs 50,000 only. Mind you, this amount is fully refundable, in case, you want to cancel yours.
Coming in two variants, MG ZS EV will rival the likes of Hyundai Kona, which is offered in a single trim only. Now, let us discuss the trims and what features each of it will receive:

Now, talking more about the battery specification of the MG ZS EV then both the trims will be offered with a 44.5kWh battery which offers 143 bhp along with a peak torque of 354 Nm. The 0-100km/h sprint can be achieved in just 8.5 seconds.

Now, coming to the driving range of the electric SUV, MG claims that on a full charge it can do 340 km. The manufacturers will also set up fast-charging stations at select dealerships which charges the eSUV from 0-80% in just 50 minutes.
The company will offer a 7.4kWh charger at home or offices. This charger juices up the battery from 0% to 100% in just 6-8 hours. Coming to the prices then we expect it to stick between Rs 19.19 Lakh and Rs 21 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
