Ola Electric Generation 3
Ola Electric strategy is to be as efficient in production as possible. To achieve this, Ola will incorporate a magnetless motor, integrated battery, and electronics into the chassis. The magnetless motor, as the name suggests, uses electrical coils that generate their own magnetic field, resulting in more torque than traditional fixed magnets. Additionally, this new platform will use 4860 lithium-ion cells, which Ola plans to begin producing by FY2026 at their Tamil Nadu plant.
After the popular S1 series, the automaker will launch two new sub-brands: S2 and S3. The S2 series will include three scooters: a city commuter, a tourer, and a sports model for adrenaline rush lovers.
Talking about the S3, this series will introduce a new range of e-maxi scooters, focusing primarily on luxury and comfort.
