Ola S1 Air & S1 Pro July Discount
In July, interested customers can grab a flat discount of Rs 2,500 on the mid-spec S1 Air and top-of-the-line S1 Pro variant. The effective price of the S1 Air after the discount till 10 July is Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom), and the price of the S1 Pro after the discount is Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom). These discounts are introduced before the end of the EMPS (Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme) ends on 31st July 2024.
Ola S1 Air is the brand's mid-spec model fitted with a 3 kWh battery pack giving it a claimed range of 151 km and a true range of 125 km (Eco Mode). The S1 Air produces a peak power of 6 kW. The scooter comes with three riding modes, digital key, reverse mode, and music on the go among other features. Performance-wise, the scooter can reach a top speed of 90 km/h and 0-60 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
Ola S1 Pro on the other hand is the top-of-the-line variant. The S1 Pro comes with a 4 kWh battery pack. The motor on the S1 Pro generates a peak power of 11kW and it gives a claimed range of 195 km, while the true range is 180 km (Eco Mode) and 143 km (Normal Mode). The scooter can reach a top speed of 120 km/h and 0-60 km/h in 4.5 seconds. It boasts a touchscreen instrument cluster, 4 riding modes, GPS navigation, OTA updates, and reverse mode among other features.
Verdict
Ola Electric is currently enjoying a good sales number in the electric two-wheeler segment. The new discount will help the brand to attract more customers. The brand is focused on offering affordable electric vehicles to the mass market. Ola Electric is also planning to foray into the electric motorcycle segment and we can anticipate the introduction of Ola Electric motorcycle sometime in 2025.
