Electric Two-wheelers are becoming very popular in India. We already have some very good electric scooters in the country like the Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and some offerings from Hero Electric and Okinawa. Now, Ola Electric is also gearing up to launch its first electric scooter in India and it seems very promising. The company's CEO has just shared a glimpse of how this e-scooter will look and perform on our Indian roads.
Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric's CEO, recently shared a tweet along with a video in which the upcoming new Ola Electric Scooter can be seen in its full glory. Mr Aggarwal's tweet reads, "Took this beauty for a spin! Goes 0-60 faster than you can read this tweet! Ready or not, a revolution is coming! This clearly hints that the upcoming e-scooter from Ola will be a power-packed electric scooter that might sprint from 0-60 kmph in just no time. There is also a very special hashtag in the tweet #JoinTheRevolution.

In the official video, Mr Aggarwal can be seen riding the electric scooter on the roads of Bengaluru. The company claims that the electric scooter will get an ergonomic seating position with supreme ride comfort, class-leading acceleration, top-notch handling, solid traction, best in class boot space, an all-LED headlight with LED DRL, and a whole lot more features. Ola recently acquired the Amsterdam-based electric scooter manufacturer called Etergo BV and this new Ola e-scooter looks identical to the Etergo BV's AppScooter.

Talking about the specifications of this upcoming electric scooter, so as of now, the specs haven't been officially revealed. But, we expect it to get a Li-ion battery coupled with an electric motor. It is expected to offer a range of 150 kms on a single charge and a top speed of 90 kmph. Ola might unveil its Electric Scooter later this month. So, are you excited about its launch?
