1. Range And Specs

For those craving an electric thrill off the beaten path, the Ultraviolette Shockwave presents one solid package. It's designed to deliver a solid 165 kilometers on a single charge, according to IDC certification with a 3.5 kWh battery pack. Within the frame, a single electric motor churns out 14.5 horsepower, but the real star is the 505 Newton-meters of torque delivered directly to the wheel. That's a serious punch, and what allows this machine to rocket from 0 to 60 kph in a mere 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 120 kmph.
2. Hardware To Back It Up

The Shockwave's chassis is engineered to handle the demands of varied terrain, featuring a 37mm USD fork offering 200mm of travel at the front, and a rear monoshock providing 180mm of travel. Tyre dimensions are 90/90-R19 at the front and 110/90-R17 at the rear, chosen to offer a blend of grip and stability. For stopping power, the Shockwave is equipped with a 270mm disc brake at the front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear, and with its 120kg weight, it will inspire a feeling of solidity and responsiveness, enhancing the overall riding experience both on and off the road.
3. Features Loaded Enduro!

The Shockwave isn't just about raw power; it's packed with rider-focused technology. A 4-level traction control system allows you to dial in the desired level of wheel slip, while switchable ABS provides added confidence in varying conditions. The digital instrument console keeps you informed, and with integrated LTE-based e-SIM connectivity and Bluetooth pairing. Plus, the inclusion of a 6-level regenerative braking system allows for customizable energy recuperation, which is a pretty good thing to have.
4. Booking And Pricing

Ultraviolette is launching the Shockwave with a special introductory offer, pricing it at Rs.1.50 lakhs for the first 1,000 customers. Pre-bookings are already underway for a nominal Rs 999. After the exhaustion of the introductory phase, the price will be hiked to Rs. 1.75 lakhs, something that the brand is going to do with its electric scooter Tesseract as well, that has an actual price of Rs. 1.45 lakhs.

5. Delivery Timeline And Colour Options

As for the delivery timeline, the e-bike will be making its way to customers around Q1 of 2026. Buyers will have the choice between two color schemes: Yellow and Black or Red and White.
Verdict
The Shockwave is true to its name where it will remind you of nothing else on the market. It is one of its kind Enduro or dirt bike that has no direct rival so to say, in this price brakcet. Given that it is the most affordable bike from the brand but operates in a very niche segment, we would have to see what kind of reception it gets, especially against the ICE rivals like the Hero XPulse 210, Kawasaki KLX230, and others.
