• The G 580 gets only a few differentiating bits, such as the closed-off panel on the nose,
  with an illuminated border around.
• It also gets 18-inch alloy wheels with 5 twin-spoke rims, and the stepney has been
  replaced with a squarish box, which carries the charging equipment of the G 580.
• There are five colour schemes on offer, and the India-spec model also seems to come in
  a lower trim with the conventional slatted grille.

• The G 580 gets a 12.3-inch blended screen setup for the infotainment and the digital
  instrument cluster, and it also sports the multifunction steering wheel from other Mercs.
• Unlike most EVs, there is a good sense of retro charm mixed with modern tech. It retains
  physical buttons for things like ventilation, heating and more things, and there is also a
  unique ‘off-road’ cockpit.
• The boot space measures 555 litres, and unlike most EVs, the G 580 does not get a
  frunk under the hood.

• Some of the features on offer include augmented reality-based navigation, 20 G-Class
  specific voice commands, two 11.6-inch screens for the rear passengers, a dashcam, a
  transparent bonnet function, virtual differential locks via torque vectoring, the G-Roar
  sound experience with G-Class specific driving sounds, off-road crawl mode, and the
  famous G-Turn.
• Audiophiles will also like the 18-speaker Burmester surround sound system, while also
  adding custom charging programmes, five driving modes, five regen levels, and
  64-colour ambient lighting

• The G 580 is powered by four electric motors, one placed on each wheel. Together, this
  setup produces 580bhp and 1164Nm of torque. It also propels the car from 0-100kmph
  in just 4.7 seconds.
• he G 580 gets a 116kWh battery pack, which can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 32
  minutes via a DC fast charger. On a single charge, the G 580 covers a claimed range of
  473km on a single charge
