Last Updated on 23rd Jan'25: The Hero Xoom 160 boasts a maxi style, tailored for adventure riding. While there haven't been any recent updates on this model, Hero has recently announced a price increase for its entire range of two-wheelers, which will take effect from July 1st.
Design: The Xoom 160 gets a rugged design, complemented further by block-pattern tyres, while the split-pattern headlights and the tall windscreen almost make it look like an ADV.
Power & Performance: The Xoom 160 is powered by an all-new 156cc, liquid-cooled engine, producing 14.6bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm, while paired to a CVT gearbox.
Hardware: The frame is suspended on conventional telescopic forks up front and twin shack absorbers at the rear, and it also makes use of 14-inch wheels on both ends. In terms of braking, the Xoom 160 makes use of a disc at the front and a drum at the rear.
Features: The Xoom 160 gets an LCD instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, smart key with remote seat opening, silent-start, and single-channel ABS.
Rivals: The Xoom 160 mainly goes up against the Aprilia SXR 160, but the Yamaha Aerox 155 can also be considered as a rival.

The Xoom 160 gets a split LED headlamp and a tall windscreen, which gives it an almost ADV-like appearance from the front.

The body panels and the paint schemes have been styled to give it a more rugged look, which is further complemented by the 14-inch alloy rims wearing block-pattern tyres.

From the rear, the Xoom 160 maintains the rugged, substantial look and it does not look disproportionate from any angle.

- The Xoom 160 is powered by a 156cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder powertrain that produces 14.6bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm, while paired to a CVT gearbox.
- The underbone chassis is suspended on conventional telescopic forks, and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking on the Xoom 160 is also a front-disc and a rear-drum setup.
- It does not get a flat floorboard, with the 7-litre fuel tank placed in the middle, giving the rider the feel of a motorcycle.
