Last Updated on 6th Sep'24: Hyundai India has introduced two new variants for the Exter model: the S+ and S(O)+. The S+ variant comes with a manual transmission and is priced at Rs 7.86 lakh, while the S(O)+ variantis available with an AMT option, priced at Rs 8.43 lakh. Both of these variants now offer the added convenience of an electric sunroof.
Hyundai launched the Exter in 2023 as a response to the Tata Punch. It falls into the micro SUV segment and features the same 1.2L petrol engine shared by other Hyundai cars such as the Grand i10 and Aura. Recently, Hyundai introduced the Exter Knight Edition and the Exter CNG with twin-cylinder technology.
