Hyundai Nexo EV Latest Update
When you first see the Hyundai Nexo, you would believe it's crammed with sophisticated tech features. Although the style is striking. The Nexo is distinguished by the fact that it is a hydrogen fuel cell-powered SUV. Water is the only byproduct, which is discharged through the exhaust system. Instead of relying on rechargeable batteries, the Nexo's electric motor is fueled by a chemical reaction involving hydrogen and oxygen.
What we know so far?
In the international market, the Nexo's powertrain consists of a 41.4-gallon tank that holds nearly 14 lbs of hydrogen, a 95 kW fuel-cell stack, a 40 kWh battery pack, and an electric motor. Power is sent to the front wheels via a single-speed transmission. Three driving modes are available; Comfort, Eco, and Eco Plus. The Nexo will also be higher off the ground, appealing to crossover and SUV fans. To compliment its forward-thinking technology, the Nexo will include appealing comforts and safety features such as heated seats, navigation, and Apple and Android smartphone connectivity.
Design
This crossover will be bigger than its Kona and Tucson counterparts. Once released, the Hyundai Nexo will be one of the most technologically advanced vehicles available. With its slim headlights, the exterior will have a sweeping front end. LED headlights, daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, and roof rails will all be standard.
Summary
Nexo is the first SUV to use Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology in mass production. It demonstrates to the public that hydrogen is a totally safe solution that provides the best of both worlds: the environmental friendliness and responsiveness of an electric vehicle without the charging time. LED headlights with automated high beams and power-adjustable, ventilated front seats will be standard on the Nexo. Forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are all included in the standard safety package.
Pricing And Launch
The Nexo will be expensive, but it will introduce new technology to the market. The Nexo's launch date in India has not been announced, although it is projected to arrive in March 2023, with an estimated price of Rs 65.00 lakh.
