Limited to just 100 units, this exclusive model marks the return of the enthusiast’s icon in a more powerful, feature-rich avatar. Arriving via Completely Built Unit (CBU), the new Octavia RS celebrates 25 years of Skoda’s journey in India. Combining European engineering, everyday practicality, and heart-racing performance, the 2025 Octavia RS rekindles the thrill of pure driving for Indian enthusiasts once again.

Last Updated On 19th Oct'25: The 2025 Skoda Octavia has been launched in India at Rs. 49.99 lakh (ex-sh). The all-new Octavia RS is powered by the legendary EA888 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 265 PS and 370 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic. Power is sent exclusively to the front wheels, propelling the sedan from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and up to a top speed of 250 km/h. It offers a thrilling and agile drive with RS-tuned suspension and progressive steering. With a sport exhaust, sharp handling, and mature refinement, this Octavia RS perfectly balances everyday usability with weekend adrenaline.

The Skoda Octavia VRS has been spotted testing in India, which suggests that the performance sedan is quite close to being launched, after making us wait for quite a long time. The Octavia vRS was shown at the 2025 Auto Expo earlier this year, and we can expect it to finally arrive later this year, albeit in a similar fashion as its German cousin, the VW Golf GTI.

Superb Ride

I think this is one of the world’s best cars. There’s no compromise on safety, and the performance is excellent. It offers a super AC, effective braking, good pickup, smooth starting, and comfortable traveling. Overall, it feels more like a jet than a car—truly an outstanding experience.
