2024 TVS Jupiter 110 Design

The new TVS Jupiter comes with an all-new design that has made it more modern and appealing. The scooter now features a new front fascia with a bit sharp front apron, a new LED-connected DRL, piano black treatment below the DRL. The brand has also made some minor changes to the headlamp assembly, it now has a sharper headlamp with all LED lighting.

On the sides, the brand has added more sharper lines. It now boasts a front fuel-filler cap which is located in the front footrest area, a bottle holder, and a USB charging port in the footrest area. The seat is now longer and boasts dual-colour treatment in the top-spec and mid-spec variants.

Moving to the rear the scooter gets a new LED tail lamp which now gets an infinity LED light just like the front. The rear also gets piano black treatment around the taillamp. The new design language has made the scooter more modern. Previously, the scooter was a bit classy with flat panels and curvy rear fascia, with the new design it will attract young buyers as well.

The brand has now made the scooter more practical with 33 litre under-seat storage, a cubby holder in the front footrest area, and a front fuel-filler cap.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 - Engine

TVS Jupiter

The new Jupiter 110 comes with an all-new 113cc engine. This engine produces 8 bhp of power and 9.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes with an iGo Assist system which gives an extra boost to the engine. Now, this new engine performs well at lower and mid-range. The power and torque delivery remain linear till the mid-range but the scooter tends to become dull in the high range.

The iGo Assist system offers some extra boost which makes the scooter go quick when you need that extra boost while doing quick maneuvers. This hybrid system shows Assist On & Assist Ready on the display, the assist remains ready starting from the lower range. However, the difference in performance is not much. The scooter does not feel stressed even at high speeds, the claimed top speed is 82 kmph, however, in our test run I was able to take it around 86 kmph. The brand claims that the hybrid system helps increase efficiency by 6-7 percent.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 - Ride & Handling

What adds to the better engine performance is the updated chassis and hardware of the scooter. The new chassis offers better dynamics to the scooter and boosts the rider's confidence. The scooter now shares the same chassis as its bigger sibling the Jupiter 125. The new chassis has made the scooter lighter, the fuel tank is moved from the rear to the front like the Jupiter 125. The scooter now weighs nearly 105 kg. With the reduced weight the scooter is now more agile and handles well.

The Jupiter 110 is now fitted with 12-inch tyres, which offer great grip on straight roads and while cornering. Moreover, the suspension and braking have been improved. The suspension setup does its duties well, and the braking has also improved, and it is now sharper than before. The previous Jupiter was known for its unsettled ride and soggy braking, but the new version has improved in many ways.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 - Features

TVS Jupiter Digital Cluster

Verdict

TVS has made a lot of improvements to its top selling scooter. It is now more feature loaded, more modern, more refined, and more better handler. The brand has made significant improvements to make it a well loaded commuter scooter. Moreover, on the pricing front the brand has priced it well in the segment and it is now a more tough rival for the likes of Honda Activa and Hero Pleasure+.
