Volkswagen has reduced prices across its lineup, including the Taigun, Virtus, Tiguan R-Line, and Golf GTI, following the GST revision, making the models more affordable for buyers. The Virtus is now cheaper by up to Rs 67,000, while the Taigun gets price cuts of up to Rs 68,000.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 48.99 lakh (ex-showroom) as the brand’s flagship SUV, offered in a single fully-loaded variant and imported as a CBU model.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line was spotted at dealerships in India ahead of its April 14 launch, confirming its arrival as the brand’s new flagship SUV. The model was brought in as a fully imported (CBU) unit and was expected to be priced at around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line comes loaded with advanced safety technology, making it one of the safest SUVs in its segment. It has received a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, along with nine airbags and a strong body structure for occupant protection.
