If it's the length that you fancy, the Audi Q3 is longer than the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line by a good 54 mm. However, it's the VW Tiguan that is wider by 10 mm and also higher by 49 mm. As for the wheelbase, both contenders offer the same space between wheels, standing at 2680 mm. Although in real life, the differences are not that evident, especially when observed individually, but since this is a concrete numbers game, here we are!

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line packs a serious tech and safety punch. Both the SUVs are powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol mill that puts out the same 320 Nm of torque, but its the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line that offers more punch with 204 PS power when compared to the 192 PS of the Audi Q3. Both come with a 7-speed DCT gearbox with no option for a manual transmision. Although the power figures are somewhat similar with no sunstantial difference, it is the Tiguan that takes this one. Intersetingly, both the cars come with AWD drivetrain for all weather needs.
