We've crossed Nasik and have covered 1304 km so far. The driving time is 16 hours with an average speed of 81 kmph.

Like we said, the traffic because of the trucks was massive but we managed to keep the average speed to 81 kmph. Coming to the night visibility then the Auto Booster function of the headlights works pretty well. Once you are past the 80 kmph mark, the headlights glow more thus providing better visibility on the road. We've done 1215 km so far in 15 hours. We aim to hit the Mumbai border in under 19 hours.

12 hours and 1000 km later, we've entered Maharashtra! The average speed remains at 83 kmph. If we don't encounter the traffic, we will reach Mumbai in just a few hours. Let's see if we can reach Mumbai faster than our very own Rajdhani Express which takes 16 hours and 5 mins from Delhi to Mumbai.

30 km before Manpur and we're enjoying the windmills and the green areas in Madhya Pradesh.

We've completed 9 hours of the drive and the total distance is 741 km. Crossed Jaora town and will be stopping at the fuel station soon to refuel the XUV700. The average speed is 82 kmph and ADAS is really helpful.

With 8 hours into the journey and 662.7 km so far, the mileage of the XUV700 diesel AT is 14.9 kmpl which is not bad at all. The XUV700 is offered with ADAS and we're using it at its full potential. Some of its features are high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning and more. As of now, we haven't taken any fuel stops but will soon be stopping and filling the XUV700 again.

Maintaining an average speed of 82 kmph and utilising the ADAS, we've covered a total of 575.4 km in 7 hours. We also want to add that the roads are getting better on this route and in the last one hour we've covered 88.4 km so that's a good one. We've crossed Chittorgarh and reaching towards Ratlam.
