Honda Activa e Vs Rivals: The Indian electric two-wheeler market is becoming more and more competitive. Many auto majors have entered and entering to test their luck in the electric two-wheeler market. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India recently forayed into the scene with the Active e and QC 1 electric scooter. Honda Activa e Vs Rivals: Powertrain
The Honda Activa e comes powered by dual 1.5 kWh batteries that generate 6 kWh of power and 22 Nm of torque. The Activa e gets swappable batteries and a swingarm-mounted motor setup. The powertrain setup provides a maximum range of 102 km. Additionally, Activa Electric also offers three ride modes- Eco, Standard and Sport. The Sport ride modes enable a top speed of 80 kmph.
Ather Rizta on the other hand gets two battery pack options- 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. The smaller battery pack provides a claimed range of 123 km range/charge while the bigger 3.7 kWh takes it to 159 km/per charge. The Rizta also offers ride modes- Zip, Smart and Eco and is capable of running with a top speed of 80 km/charge.
The TVS iQube also get two battery pack options- 2.2 kWh and 5.1 kWh. The 2.2 kWh pack enables a range of 75 km/charge and the 5.1 kWh pack goes higher up to 150 km/charge. The electric scooter offers two ride modes- Eco and Power and the maximum top speed remains 82 kmph for the top-end variant.

Honda Activa e Vs Rivals: Hardware
The Honda Activa e is based on the underbone platform which is suspended by a telescopic front fork and mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties are handled by a 160mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The Activa e gets a smaller storage space due to dual swappable batteries. The electric scooter weighs 119 kg and has a ground clearance of 171mm.
In comparison, the Ather Rizta also underbone chassis, suspended by telescopic forks and a mono-shock setup at the rear. The stopping power comes from a 200mm disc in the front and 130mm drum brakes in the rear. The Rizta weighs 119 kg and has a ground clearance of 165mm.

Honda Activa e Vs Rivals: Features
The Honda Activa e offers features such as a 7 inch TFT screen which is controllable from the toggle switches on the handlebar. The TFT display on offer support other features which include a Honda Roadsync Duo app connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and music controls. Other convenience features on offer are Honda H-Smart key that enables features such as Smart Safe, Smart Find and Smart Unlock.
The Ather Rizta gets features such as all LED lighting, 7 inch TFT console with features such as Google navigation, hill-hold assist and reverse mode. Additiionally, the Rizta offers "Magic twist" regen braking, integrated whatsapp and Alexa and a big pillion grab rail.
The TVS iQube keeps things simple with features like a 7 inch TFT instrument console (top variant). The standard variant gets a 5 inch unit for the same. Both variants offer features such as turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing and call/SMS alerts.
