The updated Honda City variants come with many features similar to the non-updated ones, but there are some important differences, especially in safety. For example, the updated variants have six airbags as standard, whereas the non-updated variants do not have six airbags across all models. Additionally, there are other safety enhancements mentioned above.
Across all variants, the Honda City includes features like steering-mounted audio controls, hands-free telephone and voice recognition switches with illumination, fully automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a PM2.5 dust and pollen cabin filter, a driver seat height adjuster, and more.
Safety-wise, all variants come with six airbags, front seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limiters, three-point ELR seatbelts for all five seats, head restraints for all five seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a rear camera, rear parking sensors, ABS, EBD, BA with EBD, and VSA with electronic stability and traction control. However, advanced safety features like Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lead Car Departure Notification System, Road Departure Mitigation System, and Auto Hold are only available on the V, VX, and ZX variants.
The smart keyless remote feature allows one-push start/stop button and keyless electrical trunk lock across all variants. However, the V, VX, and ZX variants also include touch sensor-based keyless access, walk-away auto-lock, and remote engine start (with CVT only). The ZX variant further includes power windows and sunroof controls via the keyless remote. The multifunction driver information interface displays a lot of information, but only the top ZX variant has a digital speedometer and a G-meter display. Safety support settings are missing in the entry-level variant only.4o
