Creta Diesel Manual Mileage Test
Route: Paschim Vihar > Gurgaon > Jewar > Gurgaon
Firstly, we picked up the Creta from Paschim Vihar, New Delhi and then filled up the Creta's fuel tank. Then we started our journey from Delhi to Gurgaon (our shoot location). As we started early morning, there was no traffic on the roads. The route we chose was around 32 km and surprisingly the Creta diesel manual returned us a mileage of 27.8 kmpl which is even more than the claimed ARAI mileage of 21.8 kmpl for this trim.
Creta Diesel MT: City-Traffic Results
On our 200 km run, after driving the Creta for around 60 km, we moved our eyes to the instrument cluster. This time Creta's fuel efficiency was slightly reduced because of the city driving conditions. It returned us a mileage of 22.1 kmpl, still more than the claimed mileage for this variant. Remember, we were driving in stop-and-go traffic this while.

Creta Diesel MT Mileage: Highway Results
After escaping through the city traffic, it was now time to cruise on the highway with the Creta diesel MT. Here, we were cruising the Creta at 90 kmph and the Creta returned us a mileage of 22.5 kmpl, which is not a big difference actually. Now, we completed 120 km out of our 200 km run and we saw 23.1 kmpl of fuel economy on the Creta manual. Later, at the 150 km mark, Creta was providing 23.8 kmpl of fuel efficiency.

- 150 km mark- 23.3 kmpl
- 180 km mark- 23.7 kmpl (while entering into the city)
Mileage After Completing 200 Km
Finally, we completed the run of the Creta diesel manual. While offering the best-in-class performance, Creta was showing around 23.2 kmpl on the instrument console. After the test, we can say that the Creta diesel manual is the best option for those who cover long distances throughout the month. In diesel manual guise, the Creta is an awesome mix of power and fuel efficiency.
Note: After finishing our run, we again filled up the Creta with 7.42 litres of diesel.
