MG Hector Plus Engine Options
The MG Hector Plus is available with two engine options. It gets a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 143 PS and 250 NM of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed MT and a CVT gearbox. The second engine option is the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 170 PS and 350 NM of peak torque. This engine gets a sole 6-speed MT gearbox.

Features of the Savvy Pro variant over Sharp Pro
The MG Hector Plus Savvy Pro variant only gets Level 2 ADAS as an additional feature over the Sharp Pro variant. The Level 2 ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, front collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and more.
Variant Recommendation
The MG Hector Plus Select Pro variant is one of the most value-for-money in the Hector Plus lineup. This variant offers the choice of turbo petrol and diesel engine and comes equipped with a decent number of features as well. However, it misses some feel-good features, but those features are not much of a deal breaker.

Verdict
The MG Hector Plus is one of the most feature loaded three-row SUV available in the Indian market. The brand has filled a the SUV with a plethora of features. The space inside the SUV is something which is praised by the customers. However, the third-row is bit crammed but it does offer good space for children. The drawback with the MG Hector Plus is the non-availabilty of a diesel automatic transmission and ADAS with diesel variants.
