MG Hector Plus Vs Rivals: Engine And Mileage
While the Tata Safari lacks a petrol engine option, the MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700 both have petrol engines. The Mahindra XUV700 feels superior because its bigger engine produces a lot more power and torque than the MG Hector Plus.
Regarding diesel powertrain options, the MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari have their 2.0-litre diesel engines sourced from Fiat, which are smaller and less powerful than the 2.2-litre diesel engine from Mahindra. Also, the MG Hector Plus is the only three-row SUV in this comparison that does not get a diesel-automatic version. This is a big miss in the current times when the urban audience has largely shifted to automatics for the bigger SUVs.
