TVS Raider 125 Variants: What Each Model Has To Offer
The base single-seat model comes with several features, including an LED headlamp and taillamp, a reverse LCD digital cluster with a digital odometer, speedometer, trip meter, alarm, indicators, and a side stand alert. It also offers two ride modes (Eco and Power), a USB port, under-seat storage, a side stand indicator with engine cut-off, helmet attention indication, SBT, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and TVS IntelliGo. The split-seat variant includes all these features but adds a front disc brake instead of the drum brake.
The SSE is a special edition that features superhero-themed decals, like Iron Man, and a black Panther colour option. It retains all the features of the split-seat variant. In the top SX variant, the Reverse LCD digital cluster is replaced by a 5-inch TFT screen that features SmartXonnect technology. This upgrade includes call and message management, weather and sports updates, voice assistance, navigation, ride reports, last-parked location, and service booking.
The system also connects via Bluetooth to the TVS SmartXonnect app, offering up to 99 connected features. This new setup makes the driving experience more connected and convenient with easy access to various functions.
Verdict
This model performs well and offers great features even in the base and mid variants. If you prefer a focus on looks, you might enjoy the mid or top variants more. However, if you're on a budget, it's best to at least choose the split seat variant to ensure you have disc brakes for better safety. For those who value connectivity, the top variant is the best option.
