The future of the automobiles around the world is predicted to be all-electric in the coming years. While the Indian market is still warming to the idea of the electric cars, there are quite a handful of electric two-wheelers available in the market. Hero Electric showcased its range of products and exciting concept models at the 2020 Auto Expo. Here is a full list of all the vehicle showcased by Hero Electric at the Auto Expo.
Hero Electric AE-47 e-bike
The Hero Electric AE 47 is an electric motorcycle is the part of the sports series of the manufacturer. It comes powered by a 4,000 Watts electric motor that gets power from a 48V, 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The bike can go on for 160 km in Eco Mode and there is a power mode, in which the range drops to about 85 km. The bike takes about 4 hours to charge fully and can do 0-60 km/h in 9 seconds. Hero claims that the top speed of the bike is 85 km/h. It gets multi-focal headlamp and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike gets 290mm disc brake at the front and 215mm disc brake at the rear.
Other features include a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, keyless access and go, USB mobile charging point, reverse feature. It also gets a connected mobile app that can be used to track the bike and put on the geo-fence.
Hero Electric AE-3 e-Trike motorcycle
Hero Electric also showcased the AE-3 trike that offers the self-balancing feature. The bike features a gyroscope with auto-balance parking switch.
The bike comes powered by a 5,500 Watts and comes with 48V, 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The bike offers a maximum range of 100 km on a single charge and takes about 5 hours to charge completely. It gets a top speed of 80 km/h.
Even the Trike comes with features like the digital instrument cluster, mobile charger, walk assist, reverse assist, connected mobile app, GPS with real-time tracking and geofencing and more.
It comes with inbuilt GPRS system that uses a SIM card.
