What's New?
For the 2020 model, there have been no major changes made to the car. However, unlike before, the BMW 3 Series GT now only gets a single engine option and a single, M-Sport trim on offer. the car, just like before, features high ground clearance, sorted driving dynamics, and a spacious back seat.

Exterior Looks and Design
Based on the sixth generation of the 3 Series, the Gran Turismo model is longer, wider and in addition, higher than the standard model. The car gets a coupe-like bodyline, which may not impress everyone but does result in a spacious and a usable boot. The front fascia remains largely similar while it is the rear which now gets a power-operated spoiler and larger tail lamps. The side profile of the car, however, is rather simple when compared to the front. Overall, the 3 Series GT is a nice looking car with a bold front fascia while surely attracts a lot of attention.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The 2020 BMW 3 Series GT BS6 is powered by a 2.0-L turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 252 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque output. Just like the standard 3 Series, the GT model too features an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox which is not just quick with shifts but results in a smooth performance. The ARAI claimed mileage of this motor stands at 15.34 kmpl while the 0-60 kmph timing is claimed to be 6.1 secs only.

Interiors and Features
Talking about the interiors, the 3 Series GT gets a spacious and a premium cabin. The car features a sleek 3-spoke steering wheel, which comes as standard in the M-Sport variants. The rear seat space too in impressive while the amount of equipment on offer is great as well. The seats at the front can be adjusted electrically and the driver has a good view up ahead.
Price and Rivals
The BMW 3 Series GT is one of the unique products in the market and does not get a direct rival but the car does compete in a similar price range where cars such as the new BMW 3 Series, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class are also positioned.
