The Auto Expo is full of sexy, sleek and concept vehicles but for adventure junkies, there is something special from Force Motors. In the past few years, the Force Gurkha has been winning hearts due to its abilities off the road but for those looking at a companion for daily drives, it lacked a lot. This is about to change with the new 2020 Force Gurkha BS6. Pricing is not out but we have a proper video here - click to watch!
Force officials claim this is an all-new Gurkha but as we can see, they have retained the good old butch looks of the SUV. And why not? This old school design still looks great but under the body, you have new, modified chassis, new, improved suspension, all-new interiors and a modified engine that has more power and is BS6 compliant. Bookings will open soon and deliveries should start post April 2020.
Pricing will take a hike due to the above mentioned changes and then more. The new 2020 Force Gurkha BS6 will also come with dual Airbags and ABS as standard. On offer will be creature comforts like central locking, power windows, a touch screen infotainment system and a lot more. What you see here is the 3-door version that comes with independent bucket seats for the rear passengers. Dealers will also sell two little jump seats for the boot to make this a 4+2 seater.
At the expo, a modified version of the 2020 Force Gurkha BS6 was also displayed and this is to showcase how it looks if the customer has deep pockets and great ideas. It towers over the normal Gurkha, has 400mm of clearance and gets huge Maxxis A/T tyres. The interiors remain same but in come twin jerry can holders and a heavy duty roof rack.
Prices for the 2020 Force Gurkha BS6 have not been announced as we feel the company is waiting for Mahindra to make a move with the all-new Thar that will be launched in the coming months. Either ways, adventure junkies are in for a treat!
