Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited recently launched its most affordable BS6-compliant motorcycle in India. The 2020 Honda CD 110 Dream BS6 has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 64,505, Ex-showroom. This new entry-level commuter motorcycle looks much better than before and boasts of several segment-first features. Honda promotes it with a new tagline called 'Kuch Kuch Nahi, Sab Kuch Hai.' Honda CD 110 Dream BS6: What is it?
Honda used to offer a lot of 110cc motorcycles in India in the pre-BS6 era. However, it's now 2020 and due to the new stringent BS6 emission norms, all the 110cc bikes have been discontinued as they don't comply with it. Just recently, Honda has launched the BS6 CD 110 Dream and it is now the most affordable Honda bike in India. It is an entry-level commuter that sits below the premium 125cc commuters in the company's India line-up. It mostly targets the middle-aged audience who want a comfortable, reliable and economical mode of mobility.
Honda CD 110 Dream BS6: Looks, Dimensions and Colour Options
The new Honda CD 110 Dream BS6 gets a significant update. It now features re-designed body panels, body-coloured mirrors, steel carrier, etc. The bike also gets a long comfortable seat and new attractive body graphics. It is offered in two variants: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard variant gets blacked-out elements while the Deluxe model gets chrome accents. Both the variants are available in four different colour shades.
The Deluxe variant gets Black, Athletic Blue, Geny Grey and Imperial Red colour shades. While the Standard variant gets Blue, Gold, Red and Grey colour accents on black colour body panels. It measures 2040mm in length, 802 mm in width and 1010 mm in height. The bike has a wheelbase of 1334 mm and the saddle height stands at 790 mm. It is also fairly light-weight weighing just 112 kilograms and has a ground clearance of 162 mm.
Honda CD 110 Dream BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage
The 2020 Honda CD 110 Dream gets a BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It churns out 8.80 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.3 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox and it is the most powerful bike in its class. It gets Honda's Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that maximizes performance and fuel efficiency. It also features Honda's Eco Technology (HET) and an ACG starter motor that starts the bike without a jolt and offers a smooth ride. It also delivers a very good real-life mileage of around 60-65 kmpl.

Honda CD 110 Dream BS6: Tyres, Brakes and Features
The BS6 Honda CD 110 Dream gets new 80/100 section 18-inch tubeless tyres. These tyres offer low rolling resistance and are specially designed to increase fuel-efficiency. It gets 130 mm drum brakes at both the ends with a combined braking system (CBS) and equalizer for added safety. We really wish that Honda offers a front disc brake with it in future. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual hydraulic springs at the rear. It also gets some segment-first features like a DC headlamp, new engine on/off switch, ACG starter motor and many more.
Honda CD 110 Dream BS6: Price and Rivals
The new 2020 Honda CD 110 Dream BS6 is available in two variants: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard variant is priced at Rs. 64,505 while the Deluxe is priced at Rs. 65,505, Ex-showroom Delhi. It rivals other BS6-compliant entry-level commuters like the Hero HF Deluxe, TVS Radeon, etc. So, if you are looking for a youthful bike for daily office commutes that offers good features, decent performance, great mileage and is affordable too, then you should definitely consider buying the new Honda CD 110 Dream BS6.
