Honda Cars India has now launched the much-awaited 2020 WR-V facelift with BS6 compliant engines and the prices for the same starts at Rs 8.50 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. With this, the sub-4-metre crossover locks its horns with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
What's interesting is that Honda has decided to continue both BS6 petrol and diesel engine on the new 2020 WR-V and the prices get a slight hike when compared with the BS4 model. Honda's upcoming premium hatchback, Jazz will only get a 1.2L petrol engine. The top model of the Honda WR-V is priced at Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi which is quite an edge over its predecessor.
Sharing more details about the engines then the oil burner makes 99 bhp on tap with a peak torque of 200 Nm. The engine gets mated to a 6-speed manual unit while the petrol gets a 5-speed manual stick shift. The 1.2L petrol makes 88 bhp with 110 Nm of peak torque. The ARAI certified mileage on the diesel is 23.7 km/l while on petrol it sticks to 16.5 km/l. We expected to see an automatic in either of the engines but Honda has ruled out on our expectations.

This new 2020 Honda WR-V now gets a redesigned front fascia and tweaked rear design. At the front, the new projector headlights with integrated LED DRLs do make way for the aggressive look and you also see new grille design.
Like the front, there are minimal changes on the rear design as it now receives LED treatment on the taillights. These split LED treatment on the lights to make them look sportier and premium. You also get tweaked bumper design and the upcoming Honda Jazz too is expected with LED treatment on the taillights when it is launched.
On the inside, slight changes on the dashboard and seat upholstery are made. Also, the touchscreen in upgraded and receives modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get one-touch electric sunroof function and cruise control. You also get Digipad 2.0 where you can sync your car with your smartphone enable digital lifestyle with the help of easy to use controls. You also get automatic climate control with touch panels,

The 2020 Honda WR-V also deletes the older variants and now only brings it in two trims - SV and VX. The top of the line VX trim gets features like dual USB ports, LED fog lights, chrome door handles, shark fin antenna, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Honda smart key system and many others!
The new WR-V continues with the updated safety norms like dual airbags, front seat belt reminders, high-speed alert system, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and among others. Like its competition, we expected higher trims to carry on more airbags. The car is available in six colour options - Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Radiant Red Metallic.
