2020 Jawa Perak BS6 Deliveries To Begin From 20th July; New Finance Schemes Announced

Jawa Motorcycles is an Iconic Two-wheeler manufacturer. The Jawa brand has a strong cult status and fan-following in India. They made a comeback in India in the year 2018. The brand is now owned by Classic Legends (a subsidiary of Mahindra Group). The company re-entered the Indian market in 2018 with two new motorcycles: Jawa Classic and Jawa Forty-Two. Recently, both these motorcycles got a BS6 update. The Jawa Motorcycles got a phenomenal response in India and in 2019, the company launched the new Jawa Perak. Jawa Perak is one-of-a-kind bobber motorcycle and the deliveries of the new 2020 Jawa Perak BS6 will commence soon. Here are some more details about it.

As we mentioned before, the Jawa Perak was launched in November 2019 on the occasion of Jawa's first anniversary in India. The bookings for the same began from January 1, 2020, while the deliveries were about to begin from 2nd April 2020. However, due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the deliveries were delayed. Now, Jawa Motorcycles has officially confirmed that the deliveries of India's first factory custom - the Jawa Perak will commence from the 20th of July, 2020. The motorcycle is already on display in Jawa dealerships situated across the length and breadth of the country. One can also book the motorcycle and can experience the test ride.

Talking about the engine of the Perak, so it gets a BS6-compliant 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected DOHC engine. This motor churns out 30.64 PS of maximum power and 32.74 Nm of peak torque. It is worth mentioning that upon launch, its torque figure was rated at 31 Nm but it has been increased by nearly 2 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with gear ratios optimised to offer a great riding experience. The Perak also gets signature twin Jawa exhausts that have been chopped for the authentic bobber stance.

Talking about the looks of the motorcycle, so the Jawa Perak gets a muscular front-end. It gets a round headlamp with bar-end rear-view mirrors, chunky telescopic front forks and a muscular fuel tank. Being a bobber motorcycle, it gets a single-piece floating seat and the taillamp is mounted beneath it. The motorcycle gets a unique mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both the ends and it gets a dual-channel ABS as an additional safety aid. Some other highlights of the motorcycle are that it gets an all-new swingarm, bobbed fenders and a stealth paint scheme with minimal body graphics which looks really good.

Jawa Motorcycle has also introduced new finance schemes for the motorcycle to boost its sales. The highlights of the finance schemes are:

2020 Jawa Perak BS6 price in india

The new 2020 Jawa Perak BS6 is priced at Rs. 1,94,500, Ex-showroom Delhi. It doesn't have any direct rivals in India as it is one-of-a-kind bobber motorcycle. But, indirectly it rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and also the Benelli Imperiale 400. Talking about the price of other Jawa Motorcycles, so the Jawa Classic BS6 is priced between Rs. 1.73 lakhs - Rs. 1.83 lakhs while the Jawa Forty-Two BS6 is priced between Rs. 1.60 lakhs - Rs. 1.69 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
