After witnessing a lot of spy shots, teasers and the concept model at the Auto Expo, now it's finally time to look on the production-spec Kia Sonet. So far, Kia Motors has enjoyed astonishing success in the Indian market with the Seltos SUV and the Carnival Premium MPV. The Seltos was launched in India in August 2019 and it set the sales chart on fire. Now, it's that time of the year again. Kia Motors has finally marked its foray into the hot compact SUV segment and is all set to once again hit the market by the storm. The new 2020 Kia Sonet has made its World Premiere in India today and here we have for you all the details about it (#TheNextLevelOfWild).
First of all, we will be talking about the design of the new Sonet compact-SUV. The Sonet looks really imposing and it is unlike any other compact SUV of its segment. Like the Seltos, the Sonet will also be proffered in Tech Line and GT Line trims. The GT Line is more sporty and is targeted mainly towards those customers who want an extra dash of sportiness. The Sonet will be available in eight mono-tone and three dual-tone colour options. Kia says that the design of the Sonet has been inspired by that of a baby elephant. Upfront, it gets Kia's signature tiger-nose grille which is flanked by heartbeat LED DRLs. It also gets LED headlamps, sporty bumpers, etc.
The side profile of the Sonet houses new dual-tone 16-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels. Its sporty silhouette is enhanced by the unique design and structure of the C-pillar.
