The sub-compact SUVs are becoming very popular in the Indian market. We already have a lot of sub-4-metre compact-SUVs on sale in the country and some more are on their way. It has been in news since a really long time that Nissan is working on a sub-compact SUV specifically for the Indian market. It will be called the Nissan Magnite and will make its public debut on October 21, 2020. Now, ahead of its World Premiere, the production-spec 2020 Nissan Magnite SUV has been spied once again revealing new details.
As you can see in these fresh images, the production-spec Nissan Magnite looks almost identical to the concept version. At the front, it gets a big bold octagon-shaped grille that is flanked by chrome accents on either side. The headlamps too look very sharp and it gets big L-shaped daytime running LEDs and the fog lamps are placed on the lower half of the body.
Moving to the side profile, one can see that it gets a muscular appeal and a tall-boy design. The alloy wheels of the production-spec Magnite compact-SUV resembles its concept version and the alloys get a unique pattern with the dual-tone finish. Moreover, we can see that it gets a muscular shoulder line with roof rails and an aluminium insert on the doors of the car.

Finally, coming to the rear, we can see LED taillamps, an integrated roof-mounted spoiler, etc. The fresh spied images of the 2020 Nissan Magnite also reveal that it will get skid plates at the front and rear. It also gets body-cladding all-around to lend a robust appeal to the compact-SUV. All in all, the upcoming Nissan Magnite SUV does look fresh and has a bold design.
The Nissan Magnite will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that will churn out around 72 PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak torque. It will also get a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that will churn out around 100 PS of maximum power and 160 Nm of peak torque. The powertrains will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT or an AMT. The interior of the Nissan Magnite has not been spied yet but it will come loaded with plenty of features.

This was all about the upcoming Nissan Magnite. It will make its World Premiere in India on October 21, 2020.
