All the four trims will come with 1.0-litre NA petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual whereas the upper three trims will also get the option of 1.0-litre turbo petrol mated to 5-speed manual and a CVT as well. Nissan has done a good job by segregating the engines and transmissions wisely as the 72PS NA engine is also available in top trims.
Talking about the features, the Magnite comes with a lot of them but the impressive active safety features are reserved for turbo-petrol trims only. Top variants will come with the 7.0-inch instrument cluster, 360-degree parking camera, wireless charging, air purifier, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play and a lot more. Stay tuned for our detailed variants and features comparison of the Nissan Magnite.
Talking about the engine specs, the base 1.0-litre NA petrol engine will churn out 72PS and 96 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual only. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre 3-pot turbo petrol will churn out 100PS and 160 Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or 7-step CVT. Nissan has also mentioned the ARAI fuel efficiency figures which stand at 18.75 km/l, 20 km/l and 17.7 km/l for the NA, Turbo MT and Turbo CVT respectively.
