Triumph Motorcycles have launched the new 2020 Triumph Street Twin and Bonneville Speedmaster BS6 in India. The new BS6-compliant Triumph Street Twin has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 7.45 lakhs. While the new BS6-compliant Bonneville Speedmaster has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 11.34 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Here are some more details about these new BS6 Triumph Motorcycles.
First of all, talking about the most affordable Triumph Motorcycle - Street Twin. So, the new Triumph Street Twin gets a BS6-compliant 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor churns out 65 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3700 RPM. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and gets an assist & slipper clutch as standard. It also gets ride-by-wire throttle technology, two riding modes - road & rain, traction control, etc.
The bigger Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster, on the other hand, gets a BS6-compliant 1200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor churns out 78 PS of power at 6250 RPM and 107 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. The Bonneville Speedmaster comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it also gets an assist & slipper clutch as standard. It sports ride-by-wire throttle technology, two riding modes - rain & road, traction control, etc. and it gets cruise control too.

The suspension duties on both the motorcycles are performed by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The Street Twin gets 310 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear. Whereas the Bonneville Speedmaster features a 310 mm disc at the front and a 255 mm disc unit at the rear. Both the motorcycles get dual-channel ABS as standard as an additional safety aid. The Street Twin weighs 198 kilograms while the Bonneville Speedmaster weighs 245.5 kilograms.
The new 2020 Triumph Street Twin is available in three colour variants - Jet Black, Korosi Red and Matt Ironstone. The Jet Black colour variant is priced at Rs. 7.45 lakhs while the other colour schemes are priced at Rs. 7.58 lakhs. The BS6 Bonneville Speedmaster is also available in three colour variants - Jet Black, Cobalt Blue (new) and Fusion White and Phantom Black with a handpainted golden pinstripe on the fuel tank. The former two mono-tone colour variants are priced at Rs. 11.34 lakhs while the dual-tone shade is priced at Rs. 11.64 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
