Low-displacement performance motorcycles are becoming very popular in India. We already have the KTM Duke 125 and the RC 125 on sale in India. Recently, Bajaj also launched the Pulsar NS 125 in India. The NS 125 packs in great hardware and good performance at an accessible price point. Now, Aprilia has revealed the new 2021 Aprilia RS 125 and the Tuono 125 in the international markets. So, are these new motorcycles coming to India soon?
The new Aprilia RS 125 is a fully-faired entry-level sports bike while the new Tuono 125 is a naked streetfighter. Both these motorcycles look sharp and they take design inspiration from bigger Aprilia siblings. These bikes get an all-LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, LED tail lamp and a striking design language. Internationally, they are available in multiple colours too.

Talking about the heart of the matter i.e. the engine, so the new Aprilia RS 125 and the new Tuono 125 are powered by a Euro 5/ BS6 compliant engine. These motorcycles get a 124cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out 15.2 PS of maximum power at 10,750 RPM. The exact torque figure of these motorcycles have not been revealed and the engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. These motorcycles get USD front forks, a mono-shock absorber at the rear and disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The new 2021 Aprilia RS 125 and the Tuono 125 are very feature-loaded too and they get an all-digital instrument cluster just like the Aprilia SXR 160.
