Toyota Innova Crysta is a very popular MPV in the Indian market. The first-generation Innova was launched in India in the year 2005 and the second-generation model was introduced in 2016. However, it's been more than four years and the Innova Crysta has not received any significant update yet. But soon, things are gonna change. Just last month, Toyota officially revealed the new Innova Crysta Facelift in Indonesia and now it is coming very soon to India. The upcoming 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift has been spied at a dealership yard in India and it will be launched really soon.
Being a mid-life update, the new 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift doesn't get a whole lot of changes. But, it gets some prominent cosmetic changes on the outside and also some new features have been added. Starting with the updates, so at the front, it gets a revised front fascia. The old dual chrome-slatted front grille has now been replaced by a hexagonal blacked-out grille which gets five horizontal slats. The grille is flanked by chrome inserts on either side. It also gets re-designed headlamps with a projector set-up and new daytime-running LEDs. The new facelifted Innova Crysta also gets a new re-designed front bumper, new fog lamp housing and faux skid plates.

From the side, the facelifted model is almost completely identical to the pre-lift model, save for the alloy wheels. The new facelifted Innova Crysta gets newly-designed 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. There are no significant changes at the rear profile. However, it does get a lot of black accents here and there to make it look more purposeful. Now, coming to the inside, the new Innova Crysta Facelift gets an all-black theme for the interior. It gets a new (big) 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Also, the instrument cluster has been revised and it is still available both as a seven-seater as well as an eight-seater MPV.
Talking about the powertrain options, the new 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift will get the same petrol and diesel engines as before. It will get a BS6-compliant 2.7-litre petrol engine that will churn out 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of peak torque. It will also get a BS6-compliant 2.4-litre diesel engine that will churn out 150 PS of power and 360 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Finally, talking about the launch timeline, so the new 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift has been recently spied at a dealership yard and it is expected to be launched within a week.

The unofficial bookings for the new facelifted Toyota Innova Crysta BS6 are already open at select Toyota dealerships across the country. One can pre-book it by paying a token amount of one lakh rupees. Currently, the Toyota Innova Crysta BS6 is priced between Rs. 15.66 lakhs - Rs. 23.63 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
