Triumph Motorcycles has recently revealed its new upcoming middle-weight roadster - Triumph Trident. The upcoming Triumph Trident is an all-new motorcycle. It will be the most affordable offering from this Iconic British two-wheeler manufacturer in the Indian market. What's further interesting is that the pre-bookings for the new Triumph Trident are now unofficially open in India. The bookings are open and you can now book the new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 by paying a token amount of 50,000 rupees.
Triumph has around 12 dealerships in India spread across the length and breadth of the country. We called Triumph dealers of the Delhi-NCR region to know about the price and booking related information of the Triumph Trident. Our dealership sources reported us that the pre-launch bookings for the new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 are now open. One can book this new upcoming motorcycle offline by visiting your nearest dealership by paying a token amount of just 50,000 rupees. Also, our dealership sources reported that it might cost around Rs. 7.5 lakhs - Rs. 8 lakhs on-road Delhi.

The new Triumph Trident is a middle-weight naked roadster that boasts of an aggressive stance and feels like a pocket-rocket. It will be powered by an all-new BS6-compliant 660cc, liquid-cooled, in-line three-cylinder engine. This motor will churn out 81 PS of power at 10,250 RPM and 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 RPM. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and gets a slip and assist clutch as standard. It will also get a ride by wire throttle, two riding modes - Road and Rain and switchable traction control (integrated into the riding modes). It gets premium hardware too.
The new Triumph Trident is based on all-new tubular steel perimeter frame and it weighs around 189 kilograms (wet weight). It gets a 14-litres fuel tank and 17-inch radial tyres. For suspension duties, it gets premium 41 mm USD or upside-down front forks from Showa and at the rear, it gets a Showa mono-shock absorber with pre-load adjustment. The braking duties are performed by twin 310 mm discs at the front and a single 255 mm disc at the rear. It gets Nissin brake callipers and dual-channel ABS as standard. It also gets a new multi-function TFT display with a host of features that can be accessed via My Triumph Connectivity System accessory module.

The new Triumph Trident will be available in four different colour options - Crystal White, Sapphire Black, Silver Ice & Diablo Red (dual-tone) and Matte Jet Black & Matte Silver Ice (dual-tone). Triumph will also offer 45 dedicated accessories for the Trident. Also, it will get 2-years / unlimited kilometres warranty and segment-best 16,000 kilometres service interval. Talking about the launch timeline, the new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 will be launched in the global markets in January 2021 and the India launch will follow shortly after.
