Triumph Motorcycles has finally revealed its new upcoming middle-weight roadster - Triumph Trident. The upcoming Triumph Trident is an all-new motorcycle and it will be the most affordable offering from this Iconic British two-wheeler manufacturer. The new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 gets a host of features, an all-new powerplant, an aggressive roadster design and all the goodies one would expect from a Triumph. Here are all the details you need to know about the upcoming Triumph Trident!

Starting with the looks of the motorcycle, the new Triumph Trident looks extremely mesmerizing. It boasts of an aggressive stance and feels like a pocket-rocket. At the front, it gets an all-LED headlamp with a premium Triumph badge incorporated in it. It also gets self-cancelling all-LED turn indicators and a LED taillamp. The front-end of the motorcycle looks beefy, it gets a muscular fuel tank, large radiator shrouds and a stubby underbelly exhaust. The motorcycle gets a single-piece seat and an upraised rear-end.

Talking about its dimensions, the new Triumph Trident measures 2020 mm in length, 795 mm in width and 1089 mm in height. The wheelbase of the motorcycle stands at 1401 mm and the seat height is very accessible for all sorts of riders at just 805 mm. What's further interesting about the Trident is that it is based on all-new tubular steel perimeter frame and it weighs just 189 kilograms (wet weight). It gets a 14-litres fuel tank and 17-inch radial tyres. The new Triumph Trident gets premium hardware too.

The motorcycle gets premium 41 mm USD or upside-down front forks from Showa and at the rear, it gets a Showa mono-shock absorber with pre-load adjustment. The braking duties are performed by twin 310 mm discs at the front and a single 255 mm disc at the rear. It gets Nissin brake callipers and dual-channel ABS as standard. Talking about the heart of the matter, the new Triumph Trident is powered by a BS6-compliant 660cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine that churns out 81 PS of power at 10,250 RPM and 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and gets a slip and assist clutch as standard.

The Triumph Trident gets two riding modes - Road and Rain, a switchable traction control (integrated into the riding modes) and ride by wire throttle. It also gets a multi-function TFT display with a host of features that can be accessed via My Triumph Connectivity System accessory module. Talking about accessories, there will be 45 dedicated accessories for the Trident. The new Triumph Trident will be available in four striking colour options - Crystal White, Sapphire Black, Silver Ice & Diablo Red (dual-tone) and Matte Jet Black & Matte Silver Ice (dual-tone).

From the competitive price to the triple power and performance, plus the benefits of class-leading handling and technology, we believe the Trident 660 is a real milestone in the category and introduces the Triumph brand and the advantages of a triple engine to a whole new generation of riders across the world."

Lastly, talking about the launch timeline and expected price, the new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 will be launched in the international markets in January 2021 and the India launch will follow shortly after. It is expected to be priced under Rs. 7 lakhs, Ex-showroom in India. Also, it will get 2-years / unlimited kilometres warranty and segment-best 16,000 kilometres service interval.
