French carmaker, Citroen is all set to launch the C5 Aircross facelift in India on September 7, 2022. The brand has officially teased a teaser that explains some of the changes the new model will receive. Do note that it is just over an year that they launched the old C5 Aircross in India.
Changes on the outside include a revised front fascia. The split headlight design will be taken over by a single headlight set-up and the SUV will now get twin LED daytime running lights. An all-new bumper, revised air dam set-up, fog light housing will be seen at the front.
Moving towards the side profile then the silhouette of the SUV remains the same. It gets new 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss black ORVM caps and matt black roof rails. The rear profile gets revised taillight set-up and bumper design.

Feature-wise, the new C5 Aircross will be improved than before. It will get a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Automatic HVAC will be on offer with touch-sensitive control buttons. There will be a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with integrated navigation.
Citroen C5 Aircross will also get ADAS system making it the second SUV after the Hyundai Tucson to offer it in this segment.

The above are some of the features of ADAS. The full list will be revealed by the carmaker soon.
Mechanically, the C5 Aircross will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine only. This unit produces 174 bhp of power with a peak torque of 400 Nm. It gets mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The ARAI certified fuel economy of this SUV sticks to 18.6 kmpl which is quite impressive of an SUV this size.
