Hyundai Venue was first launched in 2019 and with its unique split headlight design, internet connectivity and features loaded up to the brim, it became a huge success. However, it's been nearly three years since its launch and there's no facelift for the same. Now, as per our sources, we believe that Hyundai will launch the 2022 Venue in June this year and in this article, we share with you all the things it has to offer.
At the front, the Venue borrows the parametric grille design as seen in the new Tucson. The split headlight design will remain the same as the current model but do expect slimmer headlights. Other changes in the Venue include a new alloy wheel design, redesigned taillight set-up with a split design, and restyled front and rear bumper. The compact SUV retains the silhouette like the current model.
Mechanically, the new Venue will be powered by three engine options - 1.0L turbo petrol, 1.2L non-turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel. The power and torque figures for all units will remain unchanged except for a few tweaks to the diesel motor. We believe that Hyundai will bring a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with the oil burner in the new Venue just like the Kia Sonet. This motor then generates 113 bhp/250 Nm as opposed to 99bhp/240 Nm found with the 6-speed stick shift.

The South Korean carmaker will also bring the N Line version of the Venue. This sporty trim will be limited to the higher variants of the Venue and will feature some cosmetic changes on the inside and outside. On the inside, we can expect an all-black interior colour scheme with contrast red stitching on the door pads, seats, steering wheel and N Line badging on the seats, dashboard and more. Under the hood, the N Line model will be powered by the 1.0L turbo petrol motor.
Feature-wise, the new Venue is expected to receive more connected car features, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, an updated music system and more. Do expect new comfort features too.
