The new 2022 KTM RC 390 is expected to make its Indian debut soon and unlike before, is expected to feature adjustable suspension for the first time. The 2022 RC 390 was unveiled in August 2021 for the first time and received a host of changes including a new WP Apex suspension. While the bike may go on sale from early next month in the Indian market, here are all the details that you should check out.
The new 2022 KTM RC 390 offers a long list of updates including an updated design language, LED lights, TFT instrument console, new fork arms, and a new and better exhaust system that also gets a stainless steel manifold. The bike gets 43mm WP Apex inverted front forks that feature a 30-step rebound and compression adjustment. We also see an adjustable WP Apex rear suspension setup that offers the rider to customise the suspension settings based on the individual needs.

A similar suspension setup is expected to be offered with the upcoming 2022 KTM RC 390. Other notable features include a new ride-by-wire system, Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and, cornering and Supermoto ABS. All these new features make the RC 390 a great machine for hardcore riders. The new RC 390 will be launched along with the KTM 390 Adventure in early March.
Globally, the new 2022 RC 390 gets a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that boasts a peak power and torque output of 43 hp and 37 Nm. A six-speed manual gearbox comes mated to this engine and the bike also gets a slipper clutch to further improve the riding experience. The brand is however yet to announce the official specifications of the upcoming RC 390 in the Indian market.
