The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will be launched on June 30 and select dealerships have already started taking unofficial bookings from Rs 11,000. Powering the Brezza will be an all-new 1.5L DualJet petrol motor that is also seen in the Maruti Ertiga and XL6. This same motor will be offered in the new Ciaz and S-Cross too.

Under the hood, the new 1.5L, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated DualJet motor pumps out 102 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm. Although, this motor generates less power and torque figures than the current motor, the ARAI fuel economy is surely improved. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered as standard and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission as an option.
Feature-wise, we expect a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the new Brezza, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, power adjustable drivers seat, an electric sunroof, head-up display and more. The latter is offered on the new Baleno too.
Safety equipment on the 2022 Maruti Brezza include multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, 360-degree camera, reverse parking sensors, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, hill-hold control, front seat belt reminder, a high-speed alert system and others. We can expect ESP too but that will be known once the car is launched.
