2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is completely revealed during the TVC shoot before the launch. The new car gets a completely different design & new features.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza has taken the cover off its disguise. The upcoming compact SUV from Maruti is finally spotted in its production avatar. The new spy shots were taken during the TVC shoot for the car; revealing most of the design & feature details. Maruti is expected to launch the new generation Brezza sometime next month.

2022 Maruti Brezza Design & Features
Going by the looks of it, the new Brezza takes cues from the outgoing model in terms of design. The overall boxy shape prevails while the latest design DNA is also visible all over. The front now seems wider and uses a new layout. Twin-pod LED headlights with LED DRLs look sharper than the outgoing model. In the same fashion, the minimalistic front grille and reworked bumper give it a more edgy look. One can also notice that the front fog lights are also LEDs now.
The side profile embarks a new alloy wheel design that seems 16-inch (same profile as the old car). The diamond-cut dual-tone shade of alloy wheels does look distinguishing. The side cladding over wheels arched and underbody is now fat as compared to the old design. The C-pillar design has also grown rich and wide, meaning it can offer more space than the older Vitara Brezza. The rest of the shape from front to rear seems familiar. The ORVMs also look mostly unchanged with slight rework only.
At the rear, a lot of redesigning is done to mark the new-gen Brezza up in the segment. The first noticeable change is the new stretched-out LED taillights. The sharper design is identical to the rival KIA Sonet, but, looks attractive. Also, the boot lid is now sharper with bolder lines. This is to phase out the boring rear design of the outgoing Brezza and to make it look competitive among the cars like Tata Nexon. The rear bumper is also redesigned and it is now more upright set to give it a butch look from behind.
The previous spy shots revealed that the new 2022 Brezza will use the latest features such as a new touchscreen, etc. The Hyundai Venue-like features are expected, as confirmed via the photos. The steering wheel is carried from the new 2022 Maruti Baleno. We expect a lot of design cues inside the cabin to come from the Baleno hatchback. While it was anticipated that the new Brezza will have a sunroof, well, the TVC shoot model did not have it. Currently, we can not confirm whether Maruti will introduce the sunroof or not in the top-end trims.

Engine & Specifications
Under the bonnet, expect the new Brezza to use the same 1.5-Lt, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This produces a peak power of 103 hp & 138 Nm of peak torque. We expect it will remain mostly unchanged & the company will keep offering the mild-hybrid tech as well. While the current car uses a 5-speed manual transmission, the new Brezza will introduce a 6-speed AMT automatic as well.
Undoubtedly, the upcoming Brezza will be more efficient than the current model. Also, with a more green emission-friendly engine, the 2022 Brezza is expected to take over the likes of Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, & KIA Sonet altogether. Expect the pricing to be higher than the current version when the car launches next month.
