The 2022 ZS EV claims to look better than before, with more features available on the inside as well. Check out all the details below:
Morris Garage has launched the all-new ZS EV for 2022. It is available in two trim levels: Excite and Exclusive. Prices for the base Excite trim model starts from Rs. 21,99 ,800 and will be available for purchase from July 2022. MG will commence the sales of their only electric SUV with the top-spec ZS EV Exclusive variant, which is priced from Rs. 25, 88,000
Performance-wise, the 2022 MG ZS EV now packs in a larger 50.3 kWh battery pack that is good for 461 km of range in one single charge. This battery is mated to one electric motor that is good for 176 Ps of power, which helps the SUV do 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.

The exterior has been significantly updated in the 2022 ZS EV, and unlike the last model, the 2022 ZS EV completely does away with the 3D grille design. This time it features a new EV grille design flanked by full-LED Hawk Eye headlamps at the front, but it rides on the same 17-inch tomahawk hub design alloy wheels, LED tail lamps looks similar, as well.
The grille continues to house the plug-in socket for the chargers as before. Speaking of which, MG ZS EV has expanded its charging infrastructure in five ways onboard charging cable, AC fast chargers at home/office, DC Superfast chargers at multiple MG dealerships, public charging network, and roadside assistance. All in all, the 2022 ZS EV retains its unique styling, and with its clever tweaks has managed to up its appeal quotient as well.

On the inside, the overall dashboard design is reminiscent of the older model, but not without its fair share of updates. Starting off with the new 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, and a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touch screen. The second row also gets rear AC vents, and a cupholder and armrest in the middle. Just like before, the 2022 MG ZS EV will continue to be the internet SUV with Hello MG AI functions, just like the ones we have found in the Astor. But it does not feature the AI bot on the dashboard, unlike the one found in the Astor
Aside from that, the 2022 MG ZS EV will come with an Advanced Safety Package that includes features like 6-airbags, Lane Change Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear cross-traffic alert. Other standard safety features available in both the ZS EV trims include a 360-degree camera, electric parking, hill-descent control, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
As Indias first Internet electric SUV, the all-new ZS EV will have 75+ iSmart connectivity features that can be accessed from your phones. But the most unique feature has to be the digital Bluetooth key, which helps you drive the car without a physical key if you have your phone on yours.
