Tata Motors has taken the covers of the Tata Ace EV for the Indian market. This is a huge step forward for the company in its efforts to promote sustainable mobility. The 2022 Tata Ace EV, India's most advanced zero-emission four-wheel small commercial vehicle (SCV), is a green and smart intra-city transportation alternative. The EV will be delivered starting next quarter, and the pricing will be revealed at that time only.

Tata Ace EV Powertrain
The Ace EV is the first vehicle to be equipped with Tata Motors' EVOGEN powertrain, which has a certified range of 154 kilometres. With an innovative battery cooling system and regenerative braking technology to extend the driving range, it provides a safe, all-weather operation. For maximum uptime, the vehicle has regular and fast charging capabilities.
It is driven by a 27kW (36 bhp) motor with 130Nm of peak torque, allowing for the maximum cargo volume of 208 ft3 and grade-ability of 22%, allowing for simple ascent even when fully laden. The Ace EV's container is built of lightweight, long-lasting materials that are ideal for e-commerce logistics. 2022 Tata Ace EV, according to the manufacturer, can accelerate from zero to thirty kilometres per hour in seven seconds.
Tata Ace EV Cabin Features
The interior of the Ace EV is likewise different from the ICE version. Instead of a gear change stick, it now has a gearshift knob like the Tata electric passenger vehicles. It also comes with a 7-inch infotainment display, a new digital instrument cluster, a rearview camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system, among other things.

Tata Motors has already signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Amazon, BigBasket, City Link, DOT, Flipkart, LetsTransport, MoEVing, and Yelo EV, among other e-commerce and logistics service providers. This includes delivering 39,000 Ace EVs, establishing dedicated Electric Vehicle Support Centres for maximum fleet uptime, deploying Tata Fleet Edge the next-generation optimal fleet management solution, and partnering with Tata UniEVerse.
Tata ACE was first introduced in 2005 and now dominates 70% of the small freight vehicle market. ACE EV debuted exactly 17 years after its predecessor. It is aimed at the small EV cargo truck category.
